Meditation is a great way to decrease your stress and center your energy. It is a great way to look inside of you to see within. I tell my patients to do a 5-10 minute breathing meditation before bed. Turn off the lights, close your eyes, and breathe. Begin by focusing on your breath and open yourself up to whatever comes to you. If you are experiencing pain, concentrate on the pain, and visualize the pain leaving your body in a puff of blackness. Visualize light energy coming into light every part of your being with every breath in, and with every breath out, the pain and tension and anxiety leaves your body like a black cloud moving up and out into the universe away from you.
